Travelling with Lacroix

When a famous designer surpasses the confines of the catwalk and defilè and decides to bring his very own personal style to the chaotic, urban ambience, here is an example of how a common vehicle of transportation aspires to become a true work of art. Christian Lacroix was picked to customize the street car, line number 3 of the French city of Montpellier that will be presented officially in 2012. For the decorating of the street car, the designer was inspired by the journey that one takes with same, that is, the journey makes it possible to connect the South part to the North part of the city, and for this reason that the walls of the street car will be colored with the same tones that reminds one of the beach, with blue waves and an underwater world environment. Sometimes, taking a ride on public transportation is not always the same ever-day agony, but an experience to positively remember.
