Flowers, chocolate, gifts of every kind and overall a lot of cuddles and tons of love: San Valentine's is on its way, a recurring date known in all the world as the day of lovers. To make yourself live this very special day at its best I have pointed out and will indicate a series of original and luxurious proposals. But where does this recurring day have its origins?
Story and tradition crossover, in a circumstance that, in its many versions, always sees this saint as the principal and true protagonist, who was born in Terni around 175 d.C..
The most diffuse legend narrates that Saint Valentine was the first religious figure that celebrated a wedding between an engaged couple of different faiths. One was a Roman legionaire and she was a young Christian, an episode which truly caused quite a sensational stir at that time. Many others followed the steps of the couple, which always went to him to have his blessing. The day February 14th, was chosen because it was the day of his matrydom
