Dressing like an "Onion" but with Style

Not too long ago, the style that was all the rage was grunge look. That is, to wear many layers of clothing on top of the other, preferably inverting the traditional roles of the clothing worn. Now the look to go for is more refined, that is, one still has to dress in layers, but in a more sophisticated manner. For example, on top of the coat it almost inevitable not to wear a cape: it can be in fur, knit, smooth velvet, and perhaps, knotted into a pretty bow, and deemed very, very bon ton. Alternatively, for the younger girls who are nostalgic for the 1970's, let them go for the poncho, in either solid colors or striped, in knit or crochet, provided that the effect is definitely giving off the style "flower child" or the "hippy look". From the same period arrives the re-edited use of the polo-neck under the shirt, even better if used in nuances, or on purpose, decisively, with contrasting colors. For the evening, the triumph of over layering goes to the floating skirts, with many layers, made up of evanescent and light fabrics: tulle, chiffon, and georgette; which appear similar to butterfly wings or soft flower petals, delicately posed one on top of the other.
